Johann Wolfgang von Goethe :
❝Those who know nothing of foreign languages know nothing of their own.❞.
And i'm not talking only about their own language but about their own soul too.
On your own
We already went by this cultural barrier in a seminary and it has been proven. You start dealing with lots of tought differents problems as usual. And without any break. But if you are ready to accept the change and evolve with then you're going to learn skills by yourself such as flexibility, empathy etc to deal with "insecurity and unfamiliar situations".
I think leaving our original country to have a bit of sight of an other one is really improving on how you see things. You have a new point of view, you accept a new way of life and your mind set is going to change forever. Therefore, in a world where every mark you've made to give you an easier life are gone you have to build a new routine. Based on your new experiences, friends, people you met, work ,etc. Building this new routine is building an other you in the same time.
That's what we can call an adventure.
Unfortunatly, like every adventure this one has a end too. And when you realise that even if you went through hard choice and bad or sad moment you don't want to leave this adventure. Personnaly, i see this adventure as a great experience and I don't mind if it ends, because I enjoyed every single moment and i have nothing to regret. But my vision on this, has been expanded. We have to enjoy every single moment we have in our life. Because the clock is still ticking. We have to move forward with our decisions, the past is past and there is nothing to do. However, the future is not written and what you will do will write this future. The present is right now and we should enjoy it.
And you come back for a fresh start.
